Patch Work

Too often she stomps on the rollers.

Too many patches she's gotten leaning against the fresh coats.

It was a job too dirty, a process too messy.

But painting was fun, and nothing beats having to spend time together.

It was worth knowing that out beyond the pane, it was pouring, leaving the mist fogging within.

Dark and gloomy as perceived, cosy she insists, end of year she's loving.

the mist fogging within reminds me of a scene from titanic, SO CLICHE! im sure u saw me slamming my palm on the window pane~ hahaha, well... painting the room together has the same effeckt i guess~~ =P
