That Tune
Nothing seemed to be working out nor have worked out, nowhere near what she had wanted. She’s confused but that tune continues buzzing.
She’s on this route for almost 21 years, and no it’s not stopping, not anytime soon, not the way she sees it. It’s been a taxing journey thus far, living in ambiguity, with no absolutes, with no nothing. What has she made of her life? Really, she doesn’t have an answer.
Things are slipping away, time will not stay. She seemed to be letting go of every possible opportunity or at least she’s not striving enough. The calmness she portrays conceals her fear, her insecurities. If she can’t express them, why bother?
There are moments she felt like letting go, with no worries she could stop thinking. All she had wanted was a hideout to move on with her living in her own pace with nobody, a tranquil little wonderland she calls her own.
Many times she promised she be good, and lead a happily ever after life. Happy? Really? She needs assurance for as long as she’s trapped within.
